About Me
Howdy
Hello my name is Jackson lowe. I am a currently enrolled college student attending Full Sail University. I am pursuing a degree in Bacholers of Science Game Design. I am expected to be graduating in the Summer of 2025. I have been enrolled since 2022 and I love what I do as a student of Full Sail.

Starting my educaction I went with the expectation of "I am a gamer this will be easy". Little did I know that was going to be far from the truth. Its been a long and hard jounry, but most rewarding one. Being a game designer I have found my most enjoyable role as a Gameplay designer and UI. These are the main roles I have been practicing over the years to become fully fluent and confident in my ability to create and craft what I love.

Starting this game designer journey I intially had no real motivation to pursue this career path. I had 2 years of experience in automotive prior to enrolling at Full Sail. I wanted to take my automotivce skills and become a mechanic. As fun as automotive work can be I felt no real love or drive for that in my life. I wanted to pursue more and chase something I truly love. That love and passion was video games. I have been playing games all my childhood and adult life. With so many games played and enjoyed I have always wanted to get my hands dirty and learn the core elements of what makes these games. That curiosity led me to the best decision I have ever made for myself and that was taking the steps to getting a college education for this passion.

What makes me capable?
What makes me capable for the next steps? The love of games and passion behind it will always be admired in the gaming industry. But passion can only go so far, without the proper tools in your toolbox to shape and grow.

What I bring is dedication and strong work ethic. As a college student and game designer there is so much I still have yet to learn. I am only beginning in this career path. Being able to be patient and learn from others is a skill that will only develop better over time. Being quick to respond and slow to listen to make sure I am retaining the best information to better myself. I am always looking for more opportunities to grow my work. I do not always know the right answer, that's why its important to understand the value of teamwork and learn from others.

What do I like to do!
I have lots of fun things that I like to do. Yes playing video games is defanitly my biggest hobbies. One of my favorite games that I have been playing for a long time would be Destiny 2. I also enjoy games like Diablo 4, Minecraft, Counter Strike, Halo MCC, and Escape From Tarkov. Most of these games I have been playing for several years and some being my most biggest inspirations for game design.

Outside of the gaming world I like to collect and play trading cards. I love playing Magic the Gathering and creating fun decks to play commander with amazing people. I love to collect Pokémon cards and grow a big collection. Dungeons and Dragons is also a big passion of mine. Walks and hikes are always fun!​
